Have a Seat Málaga, based on the Seat Ronda which was based on the Seat Ritmo which in its turn was basically a Fiat Ritmo. Probably not one of Giugiaro's most memorable designs.

Looks awfully close to a mk2 jetta, of which they made billions in that red. Billions I say!

It does, but by coincidence. VW took over after the Málaga was introduced.
